Instead of making things simple, tech has made local delivery a headache. Small businesses are stuck juggling different apps, guessing at prices, and waiting around for riders. It is messy, and it hurts real people. It is the pharmacist stressing because they can’t get medicine to an elderly patient fast enough. It is the home baker watching their cake sit on the counter while a customer waits.
We know this frustration because we’ve lived it.
